“Gravitational Geometry”

This mural, titled Gravitational Geometry, was created in collaboration with the Gothenburg Transport Company. The project draws inspiration from urban labyrinths, mobility, and the flow of movement through cities.

The artist developed a mental map of Gothenburg, integrating architectural elements and abstract forms to evoke the dynamics of transport and city life. The work was part of a long-term initiative involving several kilometers of painting surfaces along the city’s transport lines, where around fifty artists contribute to large-scale murals over multiple years.

The project offered a unique opportunity to engage with the city’s infrastructure and public space, alongside fellow artists, under the guidance of Hans Ivanov, whose support was essential. The mural explores the intersection of urban mobility, spatial perception, and visual geometry in a playful and immersive way.

Cette fresque, intitulée Gravitational Geometry, a été réalisée par l’artiste Takir en collaboration avec la société de transport de Göteborg. Le projet s’inspire des labyrinthes urbains, de la mobilité et des flux de circulation dans la ville.

Takir a conçu une carte mentale de Göteborg, intégrant des éléments architecturaux et des formes abstraites pour traduire visuellement la dynamique du transport et de la vie urbaine. L’œuvre s’inscrit dans un projet de longue durée : plusieurs kilomètres de palissades le long des lignes de transport sont destinés à être peints par une cinquantaine d’artistes sur plusieurs années.

Ce projet a offert à Takir une occasion unique de travailler en lien avec l’infrastructure urbaine et l’espace public, aux côtés d’autres artistes, avec le soutien précieux de Hans Ivanov. La fresque explore l’intersection entre mobilité urbaine, perception spatiale et géométrie visuelle, de manière immersive et ludique.
